For the second straight year, Syracuse Orange lacrosse's head coach John Desko is the ACC Coach of the Year. Isn't he just the worst?
Just a few weeks ago the Orange were in the midst of a 1-4 stretch and looked like they would miss the NCAA Tournament. It was at that point that the #fireDesko crew came out in full force. Syracuse turned it around, however, and went on a four game roll to win the ACC crown. A lot of credit has to go Desko's way for keeping the players' attitude positive and believing that they could still beat the best of the best even after getting blown out by Notre Dame 17-7.
