Syracuse, N.Y. — Surprise! The 2016 NCAA Tournament will include Syracuse after all.
Before the field for this year's tournament was announced, some bracketologists, like ESPN's Joe Lunardi, insisted Syracuse was not in.
Other bracketologists, including Jerry Palm of CBS and Patrick Stevens of the Washington Post, snuck Syracuse in at the deadline.
45. Syracuse. Last team in. Rooting for UConn. Like N.C. State two years ago, have collection of road (Duke) & neutral (UConn/A&M) wins.

Once the field was announced, there was plenty of reaction in the college basketball universe when Syracuse's name was included on the bracket.
