Syracuse graduate assistant Macky MacPherson joins Kent State staff as RB coach

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse player and graduate assistant coach Macky MacPherson is heading to Kent State where he will serve as the running backs coach for former SU offensive coordinator Sean Lewis.

MacPherson updated his bio on Twitter on Thursday night to reflect the change, noting that he was excited to be part of the Kent State family.

MacPherson is the grandson of legendary Syracuse coach Dick MacPherson and played his high school football at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse.
