Syracuse, N.Y. -- At some point in the next few days or weeks, Syracuse senior soccer goalie Hendrik Hilpert will stop what will likely be the final shot of his career.
Considering that Hilpert has been playing the position since age 9, you'd think that'd be cause for a lot of sentimentality. And when that moment actually comes it might be.
Or, maybe not.
First off, Hilpert is about as unflappable as they come. And secondly, his whole career can be viewed as something of one long bonus since he's already been playing about 20 years longer than he originally planned.
