Syracuse forward goes back-to-back in winning ACC rookie award

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Louisville women's basketball coach Jeff Walz watched all the video he needed ahead of time, so he knew what to expect from Syracuse guard Tiana Mangakahia on Sunday.

But after his team beat the Orange 84-77 in the Carrier Dome, Walz was dazzled by the sophomore nonetheless. And he was left with just one question:

How come more Syracuse fans won't come out to catch her show? Syracuse drew 2,575 for the Cards, raising their season average to 2,130.

"The point guard, she is fun to watch. If you're a basketball fan in this city, if you don't come out here to watch her, shame on you,'' Walz said.
