Syracuse, N.Y. -- Dino Babers and the Syracuse football coaching staff didn't mince words with their wide receivers this week.
After a Week 1 performance in which no wideouts other than redshirt senior Jamal Custis caught a pass at Western Michigan, Babers made sure that unit knew that more was expected of them and no spots in the rotation were safe.
The Orange's 62-10 win over Wagner on Saturday provided an opportunity for projected starters and backups to prove themselves.
"There was an emphasis on the area and there was a light put on some things," Babers said after SU's 62-10 win over Wagner.
