Syracuse, N.Y. -- Dino Babers challenged his starting quarterback to be sharper two weeks ago, and Eric Dungey responded with consecutive strong performances.
The Syracuse football senior turned in a career passing outing against North Carolina State two weekends ago before beating Wake Forest with his legs on Saturday in Winston-Salem, N.C.
And how many turnovers did Dungey have, Babers asked a student reporter in his Monday press conference? Zero.
"That's what big-time quarterbacks do," Babers said. "That's what the Mannings and all those quarterbacks do. They manage the game. I'm tickled pink about the way he's playing.
