Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football senior wide receiver Steve Ishmael broke Marvin Harrison's record for the most receiving yards in school history.
Ishmael, a Miami native, caught a 37-yard touchdown with 5:26 remaining in the first quarter to give him 2,744 career receiving yards.
Earlier Saturday he also set the school's single-season mark for most catches, breaking Amba Etta-Tawo's record of 94 set last season.
Ishmael's 95th catch came on the first play from scrimmage, a 3-yard gain from Rex Culpepper, a redshirt freshman making his first career start.
Harrison, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, finished his SU career with 2,728 yards.
