Syracuse, N.Y. -- Two Syracuse football players have picked up weekly honors by the ACC for their performances in a 40-37, double-overtime victory against North Carolina last weekend.
Fifth-year senior Jamal Custis was the conference's top receiver of the week after grabbing a career-high seven catches for 162 yards. It was his second 100-yard receiving effort of the year -- and first since the season opener. He was responsible for catches of 50 and 68 yards and hauled in a 25-yard touchdown in the first overtime period.
In what has been a breakout season, Custis has tallied 32 catches for 592 yards and four touchdowns on the year.
