Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football is working to reunite one of the greatest Washington, D.C., area high school backfields that never was.
During the spring of 2015, Abdul Adams transferred to H.D. Woodson High School after playing his first three seasons at nearby Woodrow Wilson High School. The four-star prospect was already putting together an offer sheet that would ultimately include Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame, among others, as he went through team workouts and 7-on-7 competitions for those six or so months.
Alongside him? Mychale Salahuddin, then a rising sophomore, who is now a four star himself with top-tier offers.
