In Week 1 the Syracuse football found a way to pull out a win in Kalamazoo against a tough opponent in Western Michigan. It wasn’t all peaches and cream as Syracuse quickly got off to a 34-7 lead, before letting off the gas and allowing a major Broncos comeback effort.
Hopefully Syracuse learned a valuable lesson and can instill that in their home opener against the Wagner Seahawks. This is a team that Syracuse is expected to wallop, but they can’t get too prideful or allow a ‘trap game’.
Remember last season in this same exact scenario, Syracuse allowed Middle Tennessee to come into the Carrier Dome and shock the world with a 30-23 upset bid.
