Syracuse football tried to give the game away in every conceivable way: bad clock management by Dino Babers (stop me if you’ve heard that before), penalties, and mistakes.
But ultimately Syracuse defensive back Trill Williams stole victory out of the jaws of defeat in overtime vs Wake Forest.
Syracuse got up early leading 17-3 at the half thanks to some outstanding defense and that’s ultimately how they won the game. The Orange forced five takeaways including the go-ahead strip from Trill Williams who could’ve just fallen down, but instead took it all the way back to the house for the walk-off win.
