Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football is honoring military members during Saturday's game against North Carolina State.
And as part of its Military Appreciation Day, the team plans to wear a special military-themed helmet with a camouflaged pattern inside the block 'S' on the side of the helmet.
The program's equipment department tweeted out a photo of the helmet Wednesday evening.

Syracuse will wear its alternate platinum jersey for the second time this season, pairing it with its blue pants.
