Syracuse, N.Y. -- Two key Syracuse football contributors are expected to play in the team's game against North Carolina on Saturday, SU head coach Dino Babers said on Monday.
Senior tight end Ravian Pierce and redshirt senior defensive back Antwan Cordy have returned to practice this week. Pierce has missed the last three games due to an upper-body injury while Cordy played through an apparent arm injury for a couple weeks before missing the majority of the team's 44-37 overtime loss at Pittsburgh on Sept. 6.
Babers said he's unsure if redshirt sophomore safety Devon Clarke, a projected backup, will be able to play against the Tar Heels.
