Syracuse football lost 41-6 to the Clemson Tigers in Week 3. While that is a blowout by anyone’s definition, it wasn’t a blowout in the first half.
At halftime, it was a 17-6 contest and there were two major reasons for that: defense and special teams.
The offense and defense always get the love when they make things happen, that’s rarely the case for special teams.
