Former Syracuse football linebacker Shyheim Cullen went unselected in the 2019 NFL Supplemental Draft on Wednesday, July 10. He was one of five players who were featured in the draft pool.
The typical path for college football players to get to the pros is through the NFL Draft. Although not everyone takes the path most traveled.
Some players, for whatever reason, can’t take the traditional path and that’s why the NFL Supplemental Draft was created.
The event doesn’t have the same showmanship that the NFL Draft offers. As a matter of fact, the supplemental draft is conducted by email.
