Earlier this week we lamented the lack of an iconic visor atop Scott Shafer's noggin during the Rhode Island game. Was this just some strange anomaly or would the Syracuse Orange head coach no longer include the circular cap in his gameday wardrobe?
Turns out it may be the latter as Syracuse.com's Nate Mink went straight to the source.
"I was at practice early in summer camp and had a headache after practice. It was a two-a-day, went back in, came out for the second practice and said, 'You know, I'm not wearing this hat today.
