Syracuse football: Safety Rodney Williams leaving as graduate transfer

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Safety Rodney Williams will transfer from Syracuse football, he announced on Tuesday.

Williams, a rising redshirt senior, will be eligible to use his final year of eligibility immediately as a graduate.

Williams becomes the fourth defensive back to leave the program as a graduate transfer this offseason, following Cordell Hudson (Middle Tennessee State, Daivon Ellison (Duquesne) and Juwan Dowels.
