Class of 2016 tight end Jay Rose included Syracuse among his top four college choices on Monday, according to the New Haven Register.
Rose also included Wisconsin, Wake Forest and Wisconsin in his top four and plans to make a decision in the next two to three weeks, per the report.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Southington (Connecticut) High School product is ranked as the 57th-best tight end in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. Rose also has offers from North Carolina State, Boston College and West Virginia according to Scout.com.
The Orange’s 2016 class currently has 15 members, including 2015 holdover Brandon Ginnetti, but none are tight ends.
