Syracuse, N.Y. -- The wait for Syracuse football's first recruit in the 2019 class is over, and it's a receiver who put up video-game numbers usually found in an offense like the one he intends to play in.
Dino Babers' staff received an oral commitment from three-star athlete Courtney Jackson, of Gateway High School, outside Pittsburgh, he announced Friday afternoon on Twitter.

Jackson is a 5-foot-11, 160-pound receiver whose Power-Five offer sheet includes Baylor, Kentucky and West Virginia, another offense known to throw the ball all over the yard.
