Obviously the Syracuse Orange football program is going after the best prospects. But it also doesn’t hurt to target some legacies at the same time.
That’s one of the ideas behind offering Marvin Harrison Jr. -- which Dino Babers’s staff did on Thursday. Harrison’s not rated yet, but that makes sense for a 2021 prospect. He’s currently at La Salle College in Pennsylvania and is already 6-foot-3 and 174 pounds.
If Harrison were to commit (at any point in the next couple years), he’d be the second legacy on the roster, along with Kevin Johnson Jr.
