Syracuse football recruiting: JUCO DB Duwayne Johnson visiting for spring game

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2018 defensive back Duwayne Johnson is visiting Syracuse football for the spring game on Friday, he said via Twitter direct message.

Johnson, a Virginia Tech bounceback now at Arizona Western College, is rated three stars and the No. 8 JUCO cornerback this cycle by 247Sports.com's composite rankings. The 6-foot-2, 172-pound H.D. Woodson (Washington, D.C.) High School product has two years left to use his final two seasons of eligibility.

Johnson was originally slated to sign a letter of intent on National Signing Day, but delayed his decision. While he's declined to share details behind the shift in his timeline, he plans to decide in time to enroll this summer.
