The Syracuse Orange football program made its latest addition over the weekend. Taj Harris, a three-star New Jersey (Palmyra) wide receiver, announced his commitment to SU on Saturday.
Harris stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs about 175 pounds, which would probably make him an inside receiver candidate in Dino Babers’s offense. He committed during his unofficial visit to Syracuse this weekend -- picking the Orange over offers from Maryland, NC State Temple and in-state Rutgers.
247Sports has him ranked as the 140th-best wide receiver in the class of 2018, and the 24th-best player player in New Jersey this cycle.
