Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2019 wide receiver DeMarcus Harris has verbally committed to Kentucky, he announced in a first-person essay on TCPalm.com.
Harris, a Vero Beach (Fla.) High School standout, chose the Wildcats over other finalists Syracuse and Indiana. He wrote that the fit academically and athletically factored into his decision, but also mentioned a dream that confirmed it.
"Also, and I know that this is going to sound strange, but I had a dream about it. I had a dream of commitment day. I mapped everything out in my head. I woke up, ate breakfast, around 1 o'clock I was talking to my parents, at 2 o'clock I FaceTimed with coach Stoops and I officially committed and had my Kentucky hat on.
