Three-star Class of 2016 quarterback Rex Culpepper out of Plant (Florida) High School has committed to Syracuse over the likes of Ohio State, Florida and Clemson, among others. The news was first reported Tuesday afternoon by Stephen Bailey of The Post-Standard and was later tweeted by his mother, Monica.

Culpepper stands at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, per Scout.com, and is rated as the 74th-best quarterback in the class.
