Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2018 running back Akeem Dixon has signed with Syracuse football, the school announced Wednesday morning.
Dixon, a four-year starter at Vero Beach (Fla.) High School, turned in a strong academic semester this fall to earn the binding scholarship agreement.
"It's been the plan the whole time through," Vero Beach head coach Lenny Jankowski said previously. "I think more than anything, everybody wanted to be sure academically that he did well the first semester, and he ended up with four 'A's and two B's."
The 6-foot, 235-pound Dixon is rated three stars and the No.
