Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse running back signee Dontae Strickland will suit up again as a high schooler on Sunday at 5 p.m. The South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) High School star will represent the Garden State in the New York vs. New Jersey All-Star Game at Winton White Stadium in Englewood, N.J.
Strickland, likely the offensive centerpiece in SU's 2015 class, verbally committed to the Orange last June before taking 105 carries for 1,192 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior, according to NJ.com. He is one of four signees from New Jersey, along with cornerback Daivon Ellison, defensive end Jake Pickard and "big-man athlete" Kenny Carter.
