New York -- Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey left the team's game against Notre Dame with an apparent lower-back injury.
After being tackled on a running play midway through the first half, Dungey stood up before reaching for his lower back on his right side and dropping back down to the field.

Medical trainers attended to Dungey for a few minutes before helping him to the sideline. The senior then walked under his own power to the Yankee Stadium dugout steps and, presumably, into the locker room.
