Syracuse football QB Eric Dungey knocked out at Clemson

Clemson, S.C. — Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey left the game late in the first quarter after absorbing a hard hit to the head.

Dungey was struck hard from the left side by Clemson linebacker Dorian O'Daniel with 3:11 remaining in the opening quarter.

He stayed on the ground laying on his back while training staff observed him. A few teammates took a knee beside Dungey.

Syracuse will not provide an injury update on Dungey, according to the broadcast on ABC.

Austin Wilson replaced Dungey on the Syracuse drive.

Clemson led the Orange, 10-0 at the time of the injury.
