Editor's note: A correction has been made to the last time Syracuse beat Pittsburgh. It occurred in 2012.
Syracuse, N.Y. -- Either Syracuse or Pittsburgh will get its first victory over a power-five team and crawl back to the .500 mark this week.
While Syracuse (2-3, 0-1) has rallied late and fallen short in two consecutive games against power-five teams, Pittsburgh (2-3, 0-1) has lost by an average of 25 points to Penn State, Oklahoma State and Georgia Tech.
Those results have left Syracuse as a 4.5-point home favorite for Saturday's contest, according to the website VegasInsider.
