The Syracuse Orange are coming off their bye week looking at a Thursday night ACC game at the N.C. State Wolfpack. Both schools enter the contest at 0-1 in conference play, with a mixed bag of results for oddsmakers to base the opening line on.
BetOnline has set the opening line for the game with the Wolfpack as a 3-point favorite (so it’s pretty much a push with NC State getting the nod via home field advantage). This isn’t too shocking as the Orange and Wolfpack are within 10 places of each other in SP+, and I would bet most people think this game is some kind of toss up.
