Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football is still mining the country for a quarterback in its 2018 recruiting class.

It recently extended an offer to someone who had once intended to sign with Wisconsin before a messy and public breakup with the Badgers.

Lyons Township High School (La Grange, Ill.) three-star quarterback Ben Bryant is back on the market after parting ways with Wisconsin last month, a development he called "a nightmare."

Bryant's explanation for having his scholarship pulled involves communicating with a Georgia assistant who offered him a scholarship.
