Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Sean Lewis is a 'strong candidate' for the head-coaching position at Kent State, according to a report by Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports and confirmed by syracuse.com.

Lewis, who just completed his second season as Syracuse's co-offensive coordinator, previously worked under head coach Dino Babers at Bowling Green and Eastern Illinois.
