Two years ago, the Syracuse football squad had one of the best linebacking corps in their history with Zaire Franklin and Parris Bennett. Orange fans were spoiled.
The very next season, Syracuse had to rely on two projects in Kielan Whitner (former member of the secondary) and Ryan Guthrie (former member of the defensive line). In fairness, they played pretty well all things considered.
Now Syracuse is heading into 2019 with another brand new crop of linebackers to utilize, although they’ll be doing it with slightly less talent then they started with.
