The annual race to determine the best running back in college football has officially started with the release of the Doak Walker preseason watch list.
Moe Neal has been selected to represent the Syracuse football squad. He is one of 71 candidates that were featured on the list.
In 2018 Neal led the Orange in rushing with 869 yards and five touchdowns on 155 carries (5.6 yards per clip), per the press release.
His career rushing average is officially 5.4 yards per play that currently ranks fifth on the program’s all-time list behind some of the best backs in Orange history:
