While only one Syracuse football player got drafted (Chris Slayton by the New York Giants), that doesn’t mean its’ the end of the road for all the other former Orange football players.
The first one to cross some T’s and dot some I’s was one-year Syracuse wonder Koda Martin. He announced on Twitter that he had reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Koda will likely not be able to immediately step in to protect the blindside of Chargers’ quarterback Philip Rivers in year one. But that’s okay because Martin is an intriguing piece of clay that the Chargers can mold.
