It’s been an incredible journey for former Syracuse football defensive back Jordan Martin but now he’s back in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings. The team announced the move on Wednesday via Twitter.
Martin became the fifth former member of the Alliance of American Football to join the purple people eaters this offseason. Over 30 AAF players have signed professional contracts in the NFL and that number is growing per NFL Insider Field Yates.
Jordan played in eight games for the San Diego Fleet of the now-defunct AAF league. He registered 17 tackles, an interception, and four passes defended in the inaugural season.
