Dino Babers has been shown the door after coaching Syracuse Orange football for nearly eight full seasons, and while the coaching search is underway and John Wildhack has stated what he’s looking for, the other burning question is how much of the current roster will stick around through the offseason.
The answer so far is “not everyone” as Sophomore Jeremiah Wilson will enter the transfer portal, per On3. Additionally, Redshirt Freshman Francois Nolton Jr., who left the team at some point this fall, will also transfer.
Wilson started the season as the #2 cornerback, collecting 16 tackles, four pass breakups, and a pick-six over nine games.
