It’s April and we all know what time it is: NFL Draft! Thus the annual question is thrown out into the stratosphere, will a Syracuse football player hear his name called?
There’s only been one Orange player selected since 2015 and that was Riley Dixon to the Denver Broncos. While he’s been a relative success at the next level, it seems like even that happy chapter is ending with the Broncos signing an All-Pro punter in free agency (Marquette King).
Could we create another happy memory with a current Orange star?
It sure seems like we’re on our way to it after Jamar McGloster’s rock star performance at the New York Jets and New York Giants’ local Pro Day.
