While Dwight Freeney hasn’t donned a Syracuse football uniform in over 16 years, he’s still the pride and joy of the Orange. Freeney has played for four different organizations. He’s accumulated over 120 career sacks. Plus he has a Super Bowl ring to boot.
The one thing he isn’t is satisfied.
“Winning the Super Bowl and leaving would feel amazing to me,'” Freeney said to NFL.com. “The best year I ever experienced was the year that we won the Super Bowl. Wouldn’t it be great to leave like Jerome Bettis, Ray Lewis or someone in that type of situation?
