Former Syracuse football standout Dwight Freeney was immortalized in the rafters on Sunday when the Indianapolis Colts inducted him into their Ring of Honor. In his career, the Syracuse football alum holds the majority of the program records for defensive linemen.
He had an illustrious 11-year career in Indy, where he recorded 107.5 of his 125.5 sacks. Freeney is second on the Colts all-time sack list just behind Robert Mathis.
The former Orange defensive end finds himself second in forced fumbles and first in tackles for loss in the Colts record books.
