Syracuse, N.Y. -- As expected, the Syracuse football team dropped in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after a 36-3 loss against No. 3 Notre Dame on Saturday at Yankee Stadium.
The Orange dropped seven spots in the poll to No. 19 heading into next week's regular-season finale at Boston College.
The Eagles dropped out of the AP poll after a 22-21 loss at Florida State.
Saturday's game at Boston College is scheduled to kick at noon and be nationally televised on ESPN.
A victory would give Syracuse a second-place finish in the ACC Atlantic division behind Clemson, a substantial achievement after many in the preseason picked the Orange to finish last.
