Syracuse football fans should remember Donovan McNabb throwing fiery passes in the Carrier Dome throughout the mid-’90s. At 42-years of age, his playing days are long over, but that doesn’t mean he’s done throwing heat.
The latest hot take is towards Philadelphia, the city McNabb called his NFL home for 11 of his 13 seasons in the pros. That’s the very same franchise that selected Donovan with the second overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft out of Syracuse.
McNabb is heralded as one of the best quarterbacks in Orange history and had a very accomplished career within the city of brotherly love reaching five NFC Championship games and one Super Bowl appearance.
