Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football junior defensive end Alton Robinson was a major factor in Pitt's offensive strategy at the end of regulation on Saturday.
Robinson and the defensive line terrorized Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett throughout the game, and coach Pat Narduzzi wasn't going to chance that unit making a game-winning play late.
"I wasn't going to drop back and throw the ball against that front four," Narduzzi said, "the fearsome foursome over there."
Robinson finished with a game-high four tackles for loss, including two sacks and two forced fumbles, and two quarterback hurries in a 44-37 overtime loss against the Panthers last weekend.
