Syracuse, N.Y. -- As Antwan Cordy walked around the Carrier Dome field after Syracuse football's 54-23 win over Louisville on Friday night, slapping hands and taking pictures with fans, he heard a message that the other 15 participants in the senior walk didn't.
"Come back."
The Orange defensive back is in his fifth season this fall, and after being granted two medical hardship waivers, has the opportunity to return in 2019 for a sixth year. But at 23 years old with a lengthy injury history that dates back to his time at South Dade (Homestead, Fla.) High School, Cordy said he hasn't made a decision.
