Syracuse Football: Coaching Staff Will Wear "Coach to Cure MD" Patch This Saturday

This Saturday against LSU, the Orange coaching staff will show support for the Coach to cure MD initiative to raise awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The Syracuse Orange football coaching staff will use Saturday's game against LSU in the Carrier Dome as an opportunity to promote awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The initiative, which is in its eighth year, has over 100 FBS school participating, including members of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). To date, the program has raised more than $1.25 million dollars.

Duchenne MD is a disease of progressive muscle loss that, in time, can lead to a decline in respiratory and cardiac capacity.
