Syracuse, N.Y. — Scott Frost has a five-year deal to be the head coach at Central Florida worth about $1.7 million annually. Kyle Hightower of The Associated Press was the first to report the contract details on Wednesday.

Frost's deal includes a buyout total of $850,000 throughout his tenure.
FootballScoop.com reported Frost was offered a higher salary by UCF, but he wanted a higher pool for his staff.
