Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football returned to the field Friday for the start of bowl practice, looking to punctuate the season with a 10th victory and set the tone for what's ahead in 2019.
It's a fascinating inflection point for a program in the midst of its best season in 17 years yet still reaching for greater heights. Players are juggling cramming for finals and football practice for the first time. Coaches are balancing on-field duties with recruiting before the three-day early signing period begins Dec. 19.
"They better get used to it, hopefully," coach Dino Babers said.
