Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football home attendance is tracking upward on the heels of the program's first 4-0 start since 1991.
Syracuse announced a crowd of 36,632 for Saturday's 51-21 victory against Connecticut, pushing the average attendance for the first three home games up to 34,494.
To put that in perspective, it's on pace to be the highest figure over the course of a season since 2014, when SU's announced attendance averaged out to 40,447.
That 2014 figure came on the heels of a 7-6 season and Texas Bowl victory in Scott Shafer's first season. Syracuse finished 3-9 that year.
