Syracuse, N.Y. — The NFL season has crossed its halfway point and is headed down the back stretch.
A handful of former Syracuse players turned in solid performances this weekend while two Central New York products left games early.
Here's a full roundup of how local talent fared in Week 9:
Tyvon Branch: The eighth-year defensive back did not play this weekend as the Kansas City Chiefs were on a bye. Branch, who has 16 tackles this season, starred at Cicero-North Syracuse High School before attending UConn.
Jay Bromley: The second-year defensive tackle finished with three tackles and two quarterback hits in the New York Giants' 32-18 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
